(Red tracking on map is the trail I traveled.)

Today, my bike and I traveled to Indian Head and Maquan Pond in Hanson, Massachusetts.
After many days of rain and otherwise generally poor weather, it was an immense pleasure to be out of doors. The day was about 80 F., high humidity, and just an absolutely gorgeous day.
Road my bike to, and hiked around Camp Kiwanee. It was a very eerie feeling walking through an area with empty and boarded up cabins that many years ago were a place of nature education and exploration; canoeing, fishing or swimming in Maquan pond; archery, campfires, song, laughter, and joy.
I took 119 photographs of wildflowers of which 17 were of the quality to reproduce here. I have a simple Panasonic HDD video camera with the capability for still photographs: The camera is very satisfactory for my needs.
The beauty of wildflowers in nature is awesome. I have spent hours searching for the identification of the wildflowers I have photographed. I have the correct common name, I think, for a few, so if anyone can add to the identification of these, please comment.
